Repayment Calculator Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Repayment Calculator is a tool for loan/repayment calculations and life decision comparisons. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Anonymous analytics data. To improve the experience, we use PostHog for anonymous analytics and may collect events such as page views, button clicks, template selections, and calculation duration.
- Device and system information. For example, device model, operating system name, and version for basic analytics and compatibility improvements.
- Anonymous identifiers. A random identifier may be generated and stored locally to distinguish devices; it does not contain personally identifiable information.
Analytics data does not include your loan amounts or personal identity. We do not use your inputs or calculation results for advertising, and we do not sell data to third parties.
3. Local data
Your plans, parameters, and calculation results are stored locally on your device for features like "Recent" and "Favorites" and are not uploaded automatically.
4. How we use data
Analytics data is used only to understand feature usage, improve performance, and enhance the experience. It is not used for profiling or targeted advertising.
5. Storage
Local plan data remains on your device. Analytics data is processed and stored by PostHog; see its privacy policy for details.
6. Your choices
- You can disable "Share Anonymous Data" in Settings; once disabled, no analytics events will be sent.
- You may delete local plan data or uninstall the app to remove local data.
7. Third-party services

8. Public LPR data sources
To reduce manual maintenance errors, the app may fetch the latest default LPR values from public web endpoints when it launches or when you open Settings:

- Backup: https://www.chinamoney.org.cn/r/cms/www/chinamoney/data/currency/bk-lpr.json
These requests are used only to read public rate data. They do not upload your loan inputs, plans, names, phone numbers, identification numbers, or other personal identity information. If the network is unavailable or a source is temporarily unreachable, the app falls back to built-in local defaults for offline calculations.
